Payment
Private Music Lesson “ Basic Pay-As-You-Go”
Monthly Payment
Tuition payment has to be paid in full by the first lesson of the month via Cash or Check or Quick Pay. Lessons are charged monthly depends on how many weeks of the month.
If a check is returned, the return check fee is $40.
Late tuition payment: More than one week late-20% of the total amount due.
Additional material fees are varied between students such as book fees, recital fees and so on. Extra costs will be added into tuition payments.

Cancellations and Make-up Lessons
Refunds:
Tuition fees are not refundable except for illness. No refund will be provided for cancellation of the lesson by the student for any reason, including conflict activities at school. Sickness refund may be applied to the next tuition payment.
If I am unable to schedule a make-up lesson for the cancellation due to my absence only, refund will be granted.
Attendance:
Students are expected to attend all the scheduled lessons on time. Any time missed due to lateness will not be made up. If the teacher is late, missed time will be made up. A maximum of only TWO possible make-up/ rescheduled lessons will be granted per-semester.
Time Conflict:
I encourage students to stick with the regular lesson schedule especially in Spring and Fall semester. Time conflicts due to other activities only allowed ONCE for rescheduling lesson in a semester. Sickness of student is only accepted ONCE in a semester for cancellation or rescheduling.
Travel in the summer vacation is an exception.
Cancellation or Rescheduling:
Please give the teacher a notice at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule a single lesson. Absence without an advance notification will not be rescheduled, and results in the lesson being marked as missed of attendance. Any missed lesson cannot be rescheduled and made up, which means the tuition payment for the missed lesson is not refundable or transferable. A notice received 24 hours in advance may be made up if there is time available.
Make-up Lesson:
Notice received prior to the lesson time if parents contact the instructor 24 hours in advance. There will be no make-up lesson if the notice is made on the same day. Make-up lessons missed by a student for any reason will not be rescheduled. Lessons missed cannot be made up within the same month will not be eligible for rescheduling in next month.

Responsibility and Expectations
Parents’ Responsibility:
Parental involvement for students under age of 8 is strongly recommended, especially for Suzuki Music Lesson. Please encourage your child(ren) to practice at home everyday. Younger students whose parents are actively involved normally improve quickly.
Students’ Expectations:
Students are expected to practice at home everyday ideally for the same length as lesson time, but at least 15-20 min a day.
Students are expected to have all the materials including assignment book and music books at each lesson.

I agree to allow Sheen Music Studio to take photographs, videos, and/or recordings of me or my child during lessons, recitals, or other events for archival purposes and for promotional use that may also be displayed on the website.

★ If students want to terminate the lesson, one-month notice is required prior to the date of termination. Otherwise, A whole month fee will be charged.
